Escher in het Paleis is situated in a small unique palace from the 18th century which is entirely dedicated to the graphic artist M.C. Escher (1898-1972), known for his impossible drawings full of confusion.
Like birds changing into fish, an impossible triangle and water streaming upwards.

The museum is closed on Prinsjesdag (3rd Tuesday of September), Christmas Day and New Year. On 31 December the museum closes at 16.00 hours.
